Very overdue, but I cried after watching finish the whole movie like a while ago. My love for science fiction is one thing, but making science fiction for love is another.
This movie has very awesome elements. One of my favourites is the scene where they show NYC being totally submerged in waters, you can see the torch of the statue of liberty being held. Also the scene of apocalypse days where humans become extinct & technology has got its own technology. Really amazing.
Oh yeah worthy of mention is how the story ended. Which is also why induced me to tears. Who wouldn't cry if you see two loved ones (especially one who had spent two whole millenniums finding a way to see the other) reunite, but the moment can only last for a day?
I know this is a seriously old movie. But I'd always liked steven spielsberg's productions. Like transformers, war of the worlds, jurassic park, disturbia etc. After this I'm going to watch sixth sense as well. That one starred haley joel osmen as well :D
