Turned out to be really great movie, especially all the references to those fairytales especially.

One whole week of inactivity not surprising.. Some work, some relax, some play.

I think weather had been very cooling these few days. 25degrees? It's like free aircon. I love rain. However it kept reminding me of the stupid toe wound I got last week. Ouch bloody painful.

Speaking of wounds. I need many vitamins. Getting minor yet irritating cuts everywhere. Bloody itchy.

My eyes are damn tired. After posting this I shall head to bed soon.



I know I have specifically things I want to blog about today.

1) I've redid my POSB card since it was missing. HAHAHA no more withdrawing/depositing worries!

2) Gym-ed today with Jill. Was uber sickening because I lost my stamina & it was quite overwhelming just doing my usual stations. I need to train hard hard hard. After that game of life at her house for a SHORT WHILE. Damnit, I think I am like the biggest loser. :/

3) Sakae-d with some peeps after that at JP. Chinchian & Gary stop reminding me with the curry fish head it's not that a big deal. & Cc we shall continue the third serving next time. You watch out keep stepping on my shoe.

4) Met with afizah at jp. Congrats to her for working for the very first time tomorrow.

5) Travelled to cheryl's place to play mahjong. LQ stupid luck with 7 times winning in a row. Haha cheryl finally won a game after quite a long whining. Throughout the game, we laughed like mad at the mahjong table for no particular reasons. Cheers.

6) Chocolate fondue! The homemade fondue was uber nice. Looked disgusting at first, but awesome. Ate the biggest strawberry ever seen in my life too.

7) I might be getting an itouch instead of the psp. Omg it's so fucking chio.

8) I'm highlighting my hair blue, hopefully tomorrow or by this week.



Think I'm done? Yep. I'm craving to go to places like the zoo, birdpark etcetc. I'm also wanting to play monopoly.

My blogging had failed me deeper and deeper each time. It's so saddening. Posts sound like reports rather than entries.


It didn't help when I found out that my sister's psp is a modified one. Should I help her with downloading of games? I can't decide 'cos I'm halfway stuck between envy & jealousy.

The edition I wanted. Whatthefuck. Somemore is standard lite one okay.

& mind you, what does a 9YEAROLDPLUS PRIMARY SCHOOL GIRL need a PSP FOR?
This is totally stupid. & I can't ask for one because I'd quarreled with mom a few days back. The argument was too huge for me to ask her now.

I'm going to get another one instead.

Somemore, this psp
1) is pink & glitterish,
2) has NO umd games free in package,
3) is not modified.

Which is why it won't be of use to me even if I asked to share with her.

Besides I'm not exactly agitated, just somesort fuckedup that she gets one especially when she's still so young and during the period when I quarreled with my mom.

I'm so damn tired. 26+hours no sleep cleared!

Yesterday was uber nice.
- Went to marina's swensens again after a loooooooooooooooooong debate over which diner to go to. Chocolate fondue :D
- Movie marathon at cheryl's place. 200 pounds, secret, click, the simpsons etcetc. Watch like crazy one after one.
- Mahjong & Mahjong all the way until 6plus7 in the morning. I swear cheryl, azh, wendy & me are the strongest survivors.


Something stupid happened. It was drizzling when I went home. So even though how hard I tried to stable myself walking through the tiled void decks with my slippery slippers, I managed to get an unpleasant (& REALLY PAINFUL) wound on my right thumb-toe. Damn painful.

As a result. I'm scared to bathe even though I stink very badly.


I think I shall get like a few hours of sleep before heading out again to town with tania. Wooh00 play to the max.

I've decided to rewrite this post.

- Went to tanjong pagar for the job interview. So I'm going to start working next week sunday, with kenny & mervin. Hoorah.
- Having quite a sore throat which isn't very comfortable.
- The fan in my room is officially screwed. It blew up yesterday & I can't fix it anymore.
- One of my earphone's studs fallen off during training today.

Not alot of things happened though.


Hmm is chinese music better or english music better?
I swear I can think of many good reasons while tossing & turning yesterday night. It's quite funny actually. I was like debating with myself inside my head, & I was winning the english side.

Firstly, english is UNIVERSAL.

English is the linkage that brings about communication to the world. Without english, I highly doubt that people can share traditions? Learn different cultures? OR even use it to learn other languages of different nations. English is THAT IMPORTANT to this extent. Wherever you go, english words are sure to appear. In train stations, merchandises that you buy, menus in restaurant; You can't deny the fact that you'd need to know it in order to survive.


Secondly, the music industry follow a system of SELLING SINGLES WHICH COME WITH MUSIC VIDEOS.

Releasing singles is perhaps something that differentiates the two industries the most. How is it beneficial? Simple. If you don't know what your taste is & that you don't know whether you want to buy let say this album or not, a single is there to tell you its genre & to let you be the smart shopper.

Plus, some of the public only wants to own the song they've heard over the radio. So what they do? They buy the album for the sake of the song included. Quite stupid yeah? That's why singles are there to save their money. Artists/musicians releases singles because they think that these songs will be the ones the public will like most, & that they wouldn't buy their albums just over one/two songs that they want to listen more.

Most singles come with music videos. It makes all the materials released looks tidier, so people can know which songs has videos & which doesn't. Music videos also allow the public to know the story behind the song, & thus causing them to like listening to it, therefore buying the single. But for the chinese industry, the very obvious fact of not having such a singles system makes it appropriate to make music videos FOR EVERY SINGLE SONGS OFF THE ALBUM. I don't know what others might think, but I feel that this however makes everything else more confusing :/ With all the songs being labelled as "hits", I will personally think that this is more of a scam, because the songs weren't as great as I would judge it to be.


Thirdly, albums in the english industry come nicely with only a simple booklet in compact casings, & NOT GIVE YOU A TWO-FOOT LONG CASE PILED WITH POSTERS, ADDITIONAL MUSIC VIDEOS, OR CALENDERS & EXPECT YOU TO STUFF ALL THESE IN YOUR CD SHELF.

It's quite irritating you see. Have you seen those chinese albums they sell in CD stores? "JIA SONG JING XUAN MTV... HAIBAO... "etcetc, WHEN DAMNIT YOU JUST WANT TO LISTEN TO THE ALBUM! I mean, for your own enjoyment, you don't even need to use those damn posters or huge calenders! It's so irritating.


Forthly, (not to critise) english music is made with more QUALITY & CREATIVITY.

Do you hear much of chinese musicans who produce or writes great hits & stuff like that? I can only think of uhm, Jay chou & Guangliang, whom I know puts in huge efforts & interests in music. But THAT IS ALL.

For the english sides, you don't hear much of bubblegum pop music. You get to listen to music with meanings. You see creativity & efforts. People like Timbaland produces music hits everytime. Beyonce Knowles won songwriter of the year. Mariah Carey & Alicia Keys both are able to hit high octaves with their voice/whistle registers. You get to see THE PURPOSE OF MUSIC, & not portrayed in the sense that they are just meant for listening.


Last but not least, the chinese industry BREAKS THE LINE BETWEEN LISTENING & SEEING, which defeats the purposes of both entertainment & music.

WHY CAN'T these singers just stick to producing/writing/singing music instead of going further with like directing/hosting variety shows/act for instance? It gives, I don't know, the boredom of seeing the same person doing everything, & that giving the mindset that an actor has to sing & a singer has to act.

This perhaps defeats the purpose of the line drawn inbetween drama & music. It's annoying! You watch drama because you want to be entertained with talkshows. You want to feel the thrills in scary movies. You want to laugh at really silly things in your everyday comedy & variety shows. You want to cry because you've just seen a really sad scene in this love movie. You want to be educated with documentaries & news like that. You want to see proper DJs telling you info on music. & NOT SEE YOUR SINGERS SUDDENLY BECOMING ACTORS AT THE SAME TIME. It's like, there aren't really any good professional actors, & like wise singers.



I used to like those bubblegum pop chinese music. But I'm really disliking it after being exposed to the english side as well. You can communicate with english music, but not chinese. You can feel music, & not just listen to it. It gives you more drive for you to create & make music at the same time.

Don't get me wrong. I admire chinese singers like jaychou nevertheless. I don't hate his music. He's talented. He's creative & really create music for music. It's like music is his life. Not like those stupid groups like 5566? Who host/sings/act all at the same time, & keeps getting criticism. Not like jolin tsai, getting all the popularity because she sings it & doesn't create it. Not like a lot more chinese singers/bands/groups who keeps wanting to disarray the line between two distinct careers & earns fame with no originality. It's really frustrating.

I think charmaine was so damn steady yesterday! Fancy agreeing to go to watch a movie at such late notice. Haha. I think the game plan is a very nice movie. That white guy is so stupid.

I'm back early from my hiatus.


It's such a great feeling now that you don't have to go to school nor touch any textbooks or worksheets anymore.

Overally, the whole ordeal of o levels wasn't so bad. In fact, I think I've handled every single paper quite well. Except for geography that is, which I pretty much screwed up the whole paper. Humanities hadn't been my niche area. Let's pray that my social studies paper can pull it up.

Haha it's like suddenly you lose the momentum & don't know where to start again. I can't wait for biology paper to end, & I'll be able to let go of this chain completely.


Alot of things happened recently.

- Tania's grandmother passed away. God bless.
- New subway outlet in west mall. I think I'm so lucky.
- My 9gb plus songs got deleted, but they are all retrieved.
- I redecorated jackjack's desktop with a wallpaper none other than McFly.
- I've fallen in love with 987.
- I'm on a photoshopping streak, during the later part of the whole period, while having after-exams blues already.
- Watched Resident Evil, which was stupid adding the fact that I hate zombies.
- Consistently studying at several places, notably gombak mac & teban cc? Yep.
- Joined facebook. It's a quite gay, but super fun online community.

Currently, I have like a loooooong loooong list of things I planned to do. I want to shop till I drop. I want to swim & exercise. I want to make lots of lots of blogskins. I can't wait for sleepovers. I want to watch a lot of movies to make up for what I've missed. And much more nonetheless.

Oh & I'm on jobhunt. If anyone has any nice offers, please contact me alrights.

I feel more and more like a kid each day, and all I want to do is to play & play. Can't wait for november 13.
