The holidays haven't been disappointing due to the fact that I wasnt expecting much anyway.
Being hopeful is like climbing a tall ladder and standing on a high pedestal of expectation, if whatever you hoped for comes true then you get to stay on your nice little platform but sooner or later you'd just want to climb higher anyway. If in the more likely case that whatever you hope for doesn't come true, its like being shot off that platform by the high-powered rifle which is reality and plunging back into the suck.
I think. Better not to hope, better to stay where you are where you cant fall much further.
In 25hours time, school's gonna start and within these 25 hours I'd have to cut hair cut nails packbag do lastmin revision do everything else that's worth doing for the final hour pray and hope the new term comes in a fashionable way. Meeeeeeeeeeeh.
